Kumar here I am very busy these days so cant do any serious posts, i have some good stuffs though :) ... dont mindAnyway , you might have encountered the problem of disabled task manager in windows . it may be due to any virus or due to the admin of the pc ... anyway here is a simple way to get rid of it.:
Disabled task manager causes you very much trouble ...

Open Registry Editor

Obviously u all know how to open registry  .... for some of you here is how :
  • Windows xp and vista - goto start > all programs> run > [here type regedit.exe and hit enter]
  • Windows 7 - goto start and just type in that search box regedit.exe and hit enter...
  • Now you might be asked for confirmation ... click yes .

Edit the registry

>>Now its the turn to edit the registry : follow this in registry left pan
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Policies\System

>>now when u click on system in left pan , there will be some keys in right pan ... look for a key DisableTaskMgr , and delete that.. now you will have your task manager back ;-)

How to disable task manager

Now if you are the admin of any system and want to disable the task manager... follow these steps:
  • open registry editor
  • navigate to following key :
    >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    >> HKEY_CURRENT_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
  • ADD system if its not there
  • then in the right side pan , create a DWORD value .. name is as DisableTaskMgr
  • Now double click on it and set the value to 1
YOU ARE DONE NOW !!!

[PS : to enable it again change .. change the value to 0]
